CNN’s favorite Trump-bashing Republican, Ana Navarro, just got caught with her knickers down when she took to social media to compare President Donald Trump to Nazis and slave owners for calling MS-13 gang members “animals.”
After all, what kind of person would call another an animal?
“Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, @AnaNavarro…,” tweeted Ryan Saavedra, a reporter for The Daily Wire.

Saavedra’s tweet included Navarro’s tweet this week defending violent MS-13 gang members, juxtaposed with a 2016 tweet from the former Jeb Bush aide.
“Should Donald Trump drop out of the race? Yes. He should drop out of the human race. He is an animal. Apologies to animals,” Navarro’d October 2016 tweet read.

Anti-Trump forces, to include the media, jumped on the president saying this week of MS-13 gang members who entered the country posing as unaccompanied minors, “These aren’t people. These are animals.”
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer led the way in twisting the comment to include all immigrants in a transparent attempt to pander to Hispanic voters.
Never mind that they are defending ruthless gang members in the process.

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter to Navarro’s Trump Derangement Syndrome-induced duplicity.
@ananavarro so MS-13 isn’t allowed to be called animals but the president is huh? ?

More striking is that she compared rapist murderous gang members to innocent Jews and slaves ??♀️

Virtue signaling is hard when you don't have a particular virtue. Pro tip: if you find yourself preparing a political attack on the basis of a deeply held principle, make sure it's a deeply held principle you hold, not just what's convenient for today's political attack narrative https://t.co/1tp69hft7i
