On the eve of what she described as “a truly historic moment in Israel’s history,” Fox News Channel’s Judge Jeanine Pirro heaped praised on President Donald Trump for the momentous opening of the American Embassy in Jerusalem, which recognizes the holy city as the capital of Israel.
Pirro proclaimed that Trump’s word is worth more than any former president who promised to move the American embassy, and coupled this with the president opting to withdraw the United States from the “disastrous Obama Iran nuclear deal” to say America is “standing shoulder to shoulder with our ally Israel against the rest of the world.”
“Trump has assured the world that his word is worth more than any former U.S. president,” Pirro said. “His word is more than any treaty and stronger than any UN resolution.”
“He promised and he delivered.”
Pirro said Trump “not only sends a message to Iran, but to Russia as well, that the U.S. is back as a dominant regional player after the Obama years.”
She would go on to offer some lofty praise, comparing Trump to the great king, Cyrus the Great, the Persian king who proclaimed 2,500 years ago that the Jewish exiles in Babylon could come back and rebuild a Temple in Jerusalem.
“Donald Trump recognized history, he like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled the Biblical prophecy of the God worshiped by Jews, Christians and, yes, Muslims, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state and that the Jewish people finally deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel,” Judge Jeanine proclaimed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also likened Trump to Cyrus the Great before meeting with the president earlier this year.
