Lawyers for Corey Lewandowski sent a letter to New York Magazine alleging that it is liable for the alleged “criminal acts” of a reporter who trespassed into Lewandowski’s home in March of 2017, according to The Daily Mail.

Olivia Nuzzi, the reporter in question, admitted to entering his unlocked D.C. townhouse and tweeted out pictures of its interior.

The letter to NYMag asserts that Lewandowski’s lawyers are contemplating a lawsuit for the “embarrassment and anxiety” caused by Nuzzi’s behavior.

Lewandowski tweeted after the incident that he was missing a photo album and suggested Nuzzi might have stolen it.

A spokeswoman for NYMag said his allegations were “completely ridiculous and false.”

Nuzzi has openly admitted to entering the home.

“I tried to knock on the basement door, but the gate wasn’t open. Then I walked up the steps to the main door and knocked for, like, 10 minutes. And I’m knocking, knocking — nobody’s answering,” Nuzzi told the Columbia Journalism Review in an interview. “But after a while, I just touched the doorknob, and the door was open. I walked in and I’m in the house, by myself.”

Lewandowski told Fox News Monday that Nuzzi never had permission to enter his home.

“I can confirm I did not grant her permission to enter my office,” Lewandowski said.

Nuzzi did not respond to multiple requests for comment by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
