American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp, predicted the Republican Party will pick up Senate seats in November’s midterm elections, Thursday on “Fox & Friends.”
Schlapp thinks former President Barack Obama failed to keep America safe during his tenure as president and said Americans feel more secure under President Donald Trump.
“In so many ways Barack Obama did not keep us safe,” Schlapp said. “And I think this election is going to come down to this one word. Do you feel secure as an American? Do you feel like you have greater economic security and do you feel like you are safer because of the Trump policies?”
“I think that’s why the Republicans will be in good shape and we will pick up Senate seats for sure,” Schlapp concluded.
