Drunk on power, Hogg just gave Ingraham sponsor Arby’s an unexpected bump in business

Drunk on his media-infused power, Parkland, Fla., high school student David Hogg has taken to targeting individual companies for advertising on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” setting his sights on Arby’s.

I hope they’ve stocked up on beef.

A number of companies have pulled advertising from Ingraham’s show in response to a tweet Wednesday from the Fox News host about how Hogg “whines” online over being rejected by four colleges.

The 17-year-old high school student, working in tandem with George Soros-backed Media Matters, called for a boycott after Ingraham’s tweet, sharing a list of her main advertisers online.

(With Fox News host Sean Hannity and former host Bill O’Reilly having been hit with similar boycotts, the die has been cast on how the left attempts to silence the right’s most vocal personalities.)

Ingraham apologized online Thursday, but Hogg, who called NRA members “child murderers” on national television, rejected the overture unless Ingraham denounced her employer, Fox News.

The gun-control enthusiast continued to use his large media-generated social media platform to go after Arby’s.

“Why do you support @IngrahamAngle?” Hogg tweeted Thursday night, including a screenshot of email accounts of Arby’s executives.

The student opted to later delete the email addresses he included in a follow up tweet.

Arby’s has not publicly commented on the controversy, but with at least 10 companies already pulling their advertising, reinforcing a campaign to shut down free speech on the right, it remains to be seen if the fast food chain can avoid the left’s media-backed wrath.

According to CBS News, the list of advertisers who have said they will pull their ads include: The Atlantis, Paradise Island resort, Office Depot, Jenny Craig, Hulu, Nutrish, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Wayfair, StitchFix, Nestlé and Johnson & Johnson.

Liberals continue to highlight the remaining companies that have not capitulated to their demands, not that Ingraham’s supporters aren’t fighting back, having launched the hashtag #IStandWithLaura.

And there are plenty who stand with Arby’s should the company hold firm, as seen on social media.
