David Hogg’s sister tries to drag FLOTUS into brother’s feud with Ingraham, ignites firestorm

The anti-gun Parkland students are grasping at straws to keep their 15 minutes of fame going.

Lauren Hogg, the sister of gun control activist David Hogg, tagged First Lady Melania Trump in a viral discussion that arose after Fox News host Laura Ingraham posted an article noting David Hogg’s admission to being rejected by various colleges.

The comment alluded to Mrs. Trump’s campaign against cyberbullying.

A number of Twitter users reproved Lauren Hogg for bringing the First Lady into the dispute.

Pointing out discrepancies and untruths is not bullying. That’s called “reporting”.

The spat began after Ingraham shared a Daily Wire article that reported on Hogg’s self-admitted college application difficulties.

David Hogg responded with a call to boycott advertisers of “The Ingraham Angle.”

According to Vice News, Tripadvisor, Nutrish, and furniture store Wayfare pulled their ads from Ingraham’s program over the controversy.

Ingraham issued an apology.

A number of voices have been critical of the media’s defense of the pro-gun control students, who have called NRA and other Second Amendment supporters names like “child murderers,” but are largely shielded from criticism by the media.

The March for Our Lives anti-gun protest prompted Doug Underhill, a county commissioner in Escambia County, Fla., to call the activist teenagers “miscreants.”

Instead of aplogizing, he later doubled down and said: “If you’re going to wade into those waters, you have to understand that this is an adult conversation.”
