Tom Brady is sporting a sleek new look–and doing it for a good cause.
The New England Patriots quarterback was among hundreds who had their heads shaved at a fundraiser for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute on Thursday, TMZ reports.
Brady joined Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker at the event, which ended up collecting $7.5 million for cancer research.
According to WCVB, the event was organized by Granite Telecommunications, which pledged to donate over $5 million of company money if 1,000 Grante teammates and their friends and family shaved.

The barbers onsite donated their time and services free-of-charge.
Brady was billed as a “mystery guest,” Boston.com reported. Red Sox President Sam Kennedy and Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch also participated.

Onlookers shouted a chant of “MVP” when Brady’s haircut was finished. The five-time Super Bowl champ’s mother, Galynn, is a cancer survivor.
Afterward, Brady showed off the haircut in an Instagram post.
“They call me Buzzy… Tom Buzzy,” he wrote.
