President Trump renewed his declarations of dissatisfaction with Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Wednesday with a scathing tweet.
The president reproved Sessions for asking the Justice Department Inspector General to look into potential FISA abuse by the FBI rather than having Department lawyers investigate, asking “Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!”
Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!

President Trump also took issue with the decision because Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz was sworn into his role in 2012, under Barack Obama.

Attorney General Sessions announced Tuesday that Horowitz’s office would conduct the investigation, calling the probe the “appropriate thing” to do, Washington Examiner reported.
The announcement came in light of allegations that the FBI abused the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in order to obtain surveillance warrants for former Trump campaign associate Carter Page.
A House Intelligence Committee memo released earlier this month claimed the FBI used the salacious and unverified Steele dossier to secure warrants on Page without disclosing to the FISA Court that the dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign.

A memo authored by Democrats on the Intelligence Committee and released last week countered these claims.
President Trump has voiced displeasure with Attorney General Sessions before, notably for having recused himself from the Justice Department’s investigation into collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign–a decision that led to the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

In a July interview with the New York Times, the president said he would not have selected Sessions as Attorney General had he known he would recuse himself.
Since then, President Trump has called the attorney general out for his “weak” position on investigating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s alleged ties to Russia.
So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!

Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!

“Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation?” the president asked last week. “Ask Jeff Sessions!”
