A meme of batty Rep. Maxine Waters that borrows heavily from Rosie the Riveter, the cultural icon of World War Two, is circulating online.
The intended message being that in her zeal to destroy President Donald Trump, the unhinged California Democrat is working hard for the folks… assuming that you’re a progressive left ideologue that worships at the alter of big government.
But a clever social media user took the left’s playbook and flipped it on them, calling Waters, who is described as an “old bag,” out for “cultural appropriation.”
“If this was reverse wouldn’t everyone be screaming about cultural appropriation or some such mess? Any1 who says this old bag is fighting 4 anyone but herself is an idiot, make her explain her multi millions on a reps salary!” the tweet reads.

Waters was first elected to Congress in 1990 and currently has a base salary of $174,000 per year. This champion for the poor lives in a 6,000-square foot, $4.3 million mansion in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, as Fox News’ Tucker Carlson once noted.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Waters and her husband, Sid Williams, also own property in Palm Springs, Kern County and Washington, D.C.
But then, hypocrisy is a Democratic staple.
Waters is known for her race baiting and her obsession with trying to impeach Trump — despite the lack of high crimes and misdemeanors — but her supporters look the other way amid reports she attended a 2002 Nation of Islam Convention in her home state as the group’s racist leader, Louis Farrakhan, defended Palestinian suicide bombers.
