What happened to judging others by the content of their character?
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) took to Twitter Sunday night to share a fun and harmless photo of herself at the movies, watching the “Black Panther?”

The new Marvel superhero film has been hailed by liberals for its portrayal of a successful-but-fictional African nation, as well as for tackling issues of black identity.
Harris shared a CNN article with her followers that emphasized the film’s racial overtones.
She also praised a nation-wide effort by left-wing activists to register voters at screenings of the movie.
Harris manages two verified Twitter accounts. One, @SenKamalaHarris, is her official Senate profile and typically features more reserved commentary on public policy.
The other account, @KamalaHarris, is for her personal use and contains remarks that are much less filtered.
A closer look at the senator’s personal Twitter account reveals a history of racially-charged comments that speak to liberal identity politics.
My advice to Black girls everywhere: whenever you find yourself in a room where there aren't a lot of people who look like you — be it a classroom, or a boardroom, or a courtroom — remember that you have an entire community in that room with you, all of us cheering you on.

The tweet pinned to the top of Harris’ page reads:
“My advice to Black girls everywhere: whenever you find yourself in a room where there aren’t a lot of people who look like you — be it a classroom, or a boardroom, or a courtroom — remember that you have an entire community in that room with you, all of us cheering you on.”
The words received some backlash from users who took issue with the notion that one should feel uncomfortable being surrounded by people of a different race.
My advice to everyone is don’t look or judge people by skin color like Kamala does. Content of character that matters.

Your stupidity in making these types of Statements is why there are racial divides. We should all go into the room and be who we are and not have to look at skin color to act as ourselves.

Earlier this month, Harris retweeted a post calling for the election of many more black women to the Senate–even though African American females make up only about 7 percent of the US population.
Only two black women have ever been elected to the U.S. Senate: Carol Moseley Braun and @KamalaHarris. We will keep recruiting and supporting candidates until black women have parity in the Senate! #ElectBlackWomen #BlackHistoryMonth pic.twitter.com/9bKSFlcOdI

Harris also spoke highly of Kehinde Wiley, who painted Barack Obama’s presidential portrait–even though Wiley also made paintings of black women holding decapitated white heads.
These official portraits of @BarackObama and @MichelleObama are stunning. Congratulations to @kehindewiley on becoming the first person of color to paint a presidential portrait that will hang in the @nationalportraitgallery. pic.twitter.com/iuZwoJGMP4

Would Harris’ liberal supporters be cheering so enthusiastically if she were calling for more white lawmakers, or praising the work of an artist who had depicted whites holding the severed heads of African Americans?
The California Democrat has repeatedly referred to “Dreamers”–illegal aliens brought to the US as minors–as the “best” of America, rather than reserving the title for the nation’s citizens.
Dreamers represent the best of who we are as a nation. I won’t stop fighting to give them the security they need to live up to their full potential.
— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) January 29, 2018
Dreamers are young people who are in our colleges and universities, our military, and our Fortune 500 companies. They represent some of the best of this country and time is running out to protect them.

She also accused ICE of being guilty of “abuse of power” for carrying out raids in accordance with federal immigration law.
For all her racially-charged posts, the Democrat does have at least one white constituent: her husband, attorney Doug Emhoff.
Happy Valentine’s Day to my wonderful husband Doug! Love you. pic.twitter.com/TwcmX0Aohc

Perhaps in Harris’ mind, that justifies her constant race-baiting.
The senator’s remarks have earned her sharp criticism from many Twitter users.
My advice to Kamala Harris is stop making it about one race. #RaceBaiterKamalaHarris

So it’ll be identity politics all the way for you, then. Good luck with that.
— M. Ira Miles (@murmiles) February 3, 2018
Obviously the most important part of the story is the color of their skin and what they do with their genitals. Can we please be done with identity politics and get back to the real world?
— Demosthenes (@DemosthenesTora) February 16, 2018
Are you trying to say that Blacks are superior? I view everyone as equal regardless of skin color.
— Publius Culper® ? (@PubliusCulper) February 18, 2018
So illegal immigrants are the “best” this country has to offer? It’s sad you really think this. Really sad.
— Andy (@AndyGator1984) February 12, 2018
the best of this country are law breakers? I don’t think so.

Refusing to cooperate with ICE to allow Criminal Aliens to remain on the streets makes you complicit with every crime they commit. Sanctuary state = Treason
— Peggy Robinson (@peggyoconelle) January 24, 2018
Making California a sanctuary state is abuse of power.
