Social media erupted Friday afternoon after the Department of Justice announced that a federal grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities as part of the Mueller investigation.
No Americans were named in the indictments, which focused on alleged “information warfare” and “disinformation campaigns” by several persons and groups, with some of these efforts beginning as early as 2014.

Spectators throughout the political spectrum reacted to the news, which included a statement by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that “There is no allegation in the indictment that the charge conduct altered the outcome of the 2016 election.”

“Part of the problem. The FBI has been busy chasing down 13 Russian non-citizens who ‘disparaged Hillary Clinton’ instead of chasing down a tip that Nikolas Cruz could shoot up a school full of American kids.”

“13 Russian nationals have been indicted for the intent to interfere in the 2016 election. So when did Trump collude with the Russians? Oh, that’s right. He didn’t. But the Democrats did!”
Ben Shapiro had a few words to say to detractors of the president who refused to drop their allegations of collusion even though Rosenstein said no Americans knowingly participated in the disinformation campaigns, and that any participation was “unwitting.”
“Because collusion involves intent,” Shapiro tweeted in response to Commentary magazine editor Noah Rothman, who wrote:
“Why people are convinced ‘unwitting’ cooperation with a hostile foreign power amid a state-directed disinformation campaign is exculpatory is bizarre in the extreme.”
Sean Hannity flatly declared “no collusion.”

Many Twitter users, including Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, said the indictments disrupted the longstanding collusion allegations against the president.
So the big Mueller Russia indictment details that the Russian conspirators supported @SenSanders. Yet no special counsel investigating Sanders collusion with the Russians. I guess the Clinton campaign didn't give the Obama gang a Bernie Dossier to justify spying/targeting him.

So big Mueller indictment of Russians confirms "unwitting" involvement of Trump campaign with disguised Russian operatives. No collusion. Shut it down.

Soooo what 🤷🏻♀️ is this the culmination of over a year’s investigation? We have 13 Russians under indictment for interfering in our election?! #Mueller needs to pay us back for all the wasted tax payer money. 🤨😠

Russians are laughing at the fact that such transparent buffoonery is being used to fit a #Russia collusion narrative to try to take down a sitting US president. Vladimir Putin must be doing cartwheels. https://t.co/8RlstUbwjl

So the best #Mueller has for 2016 Election Interference is indicting some Twitter trolls? What a joke!
Adam Schiff has been lying to you for a year about the Trump Campaign colluding with Russians.
HUGE NOTHINGBURGER!

I hate to say we're right, but
Rod Rosenstein clarified that no Americans colluded with the 13 Russians being indicted.
Vindication sure is sweet. #RodRosenstein #Mueller
