House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes doubled down on the call to release the FISA memo and reminded Democrats obsessed with collusion that there is “a clear link to Russia.”
The only problem is, it’s a Democratic link.
“We have a clear link to Russia,” Nunes said on Monday during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” after being asked if crimes have been committed.
“You have a campaign who hired a law firm, who hire Fusion GPS, who hired a foreign agent [ex-British spy Christopher Steele], who then got information from the Russians on the other campaign,” Nunes explained.

The “campaign” referenced being Hillary Clinton’s, of course.
“It seems like the counterintelligence investigation should have been opened up against the Hillary campaign when they got ahold of the dossier,” the California Republican said. But that didn’t happen, either.”
Nunes made it a point to reiterate that the FBI did not disclose to the FISA court that granted the surveillance warrant against Trump aide Carter Page that the DNC and the Clinton campaign helped fund the Steele dossier, saying Democrats treat this critical information as a “footnote.”
The GOP lawmaker also blasted the media for its coverage of the controversial memo, suggesting they are “part of” the Democrat Party. Nunes has become a target of the Dems and their media cohorts since he began working to expose their alleged corruption.

“Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and Donald Trump or George Bush or Karl Rove paid for information, and George W. Bush‘s FBI opened an investigation into the Obama campaign because they were talking to Russians,” he told host Sean Hannity, saying Washington would be “on fire.”
“Yet its crickets from the media,” Nunes added. It’s embarrassing. It’s absolutely embarrassing. I’m almost flabbergasted. I thought, at least, there would be some ounce of credibility left. But there really is none.”
.@DevinNunes: "I think the bigger problem, challenge here, is that the mainstream media is totally uninterested in this. Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot?" #Hannity pic.twitter.com/geGYgzdS0P
