A train on which Republican members of Congress were traveling to a retreat in West Virginia collided with a dump truck on Wednesday.
The force of the crash threw some passengers out of their seats, Fox News reported, stating that the train “derailed.” Other reports say it may have been stuck on the tracks.

Multiple sources confirmed to CNN that House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) was on the train. An aide confirmed that Ryan was unharmed.
Rep. John Faso (R-NY) told CNN he saw the truck that hit the train, and that the people on the truck were expected to be injured.
“There was (what) looks like a tractor trailer carrying trash that was hit by the train,” Faso said. He added, “I think everyone on the train is OK. I don’t know that for sure, it’s a long train. But most of the concern is for the people outside.”
Politico correspondent Rachel Bade reported the truck driver may be receiving medical attention.
