Bill Maher compares Melania Trump’s marriage to the Holocaust in one of his most tasteless bits yet

Bill Maher proves wealth and status don’t buy class.

The “Real Time with Bill Maher” host mocked the relationship between the president and First Lady during his opening monologue Friday night, comparing the Trumps’ marriage to the Holocaust.

The HBO star “joked” that President Trump’s marriage is “more valuable to him as an idea than as a reality,” and spoke to rumors that the president had an affair with pornographic actress Stormy Daniels in 2006, the Daily Beast reported.

“It was their anniversary this week—their 13th anniversary—and of course Trump said the wrong thing: ‘Thirteen years together. I would buy you all over again,” Maher jeered. “No, he didn’t. Actually, it’s sadder than that: they didn’t say anything. They didn’t have dinner, no tweets back and forth about that, nothing. And Melania was supposed to go to Davos with him but at the last minute didn’t.”

Maher alluded to the president’s trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week. The First Lady skipped the occasion, staying behind to visit Washington’s Holocaust Memorial Museum before heading to Florida on Thursday, CNN reported.

“They said ‘scheduling and logistical reasons,’” Maher continued. “Yeah, that’s bureaucrat talk for, ‘Why don’t you take the porn star you were f*****g?”

The late night host encouraged Mrs. Trump to don the pink vagina-shaped hats used by participants of the anti-Trump Women’s March.

“Melania, baby, you gotta knit yourself a pussy hat, I’m tellin’ ya! This is how bad it’s gotten: instead of going to Davos with her husband, Melania went to the Holocaust Museum to cheer up. She signed the guest book: ‘I know the feeling.’ And she lit a candle to mourn the dark day two weeks ago when Trump’s doctor said he was in good health. Then it was off to lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Trophy Wife.”

He also criticized evangelical leader Franklin Graham for defending the president amid the affair allegations.

“But you know who’s not mad at Trump for screwing a porn star? The evangelicals! Did you see this? Their head dude said we give him ‘a mulligan.’ A mulligan! One little blemish on an otherwise spotless Christian life. I’m not sure a mulligan gets you from Trump’s life to a life of a decent human being. I think the word for that is: reincarnation.”

Maher’ remarks echoed those of other Trump detractors who suggested the First Lady canceled her trip to Davos over the Stormy Daniels affair allegations.

On Wednesday, CBS’s Stephen Colbert mocked the White House’s claim that the First Lady passed on the trip due to “scheduling and logistical issues.”

“Yes, there were logistical issues,” Colbert said. “For instance, the weather. She was afraid it was going to be too Stormy.”

A Wall Street Journal report from earlier this month claimed an attorney for the president paid Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, to keep silent.

Clifford has denied the affair despite the emergence of a 2011 interview in which the porn start admitted to sexual relations with President Trump shortly after Melania gave birth to their son, Barron.

Maybe Bill Maher can at least get the story straight while doing one of his insulting “comedy” routines.
