The mainstream media is in love with any story that depicts them as victims at the hands of Republicans.
A Michigan man was arrested last week after an FBI investigation discovered he made threatening phone calls to CNN, vowing to kill employees at the cable news station’s Atlanta, Georgia headquarters.
The caller, 19-year-old Brandon Griesemer, contacted the network 22 times this month, CBS 46 reports.
“Fake news. I’m coming to gun you all down,” he told a CNN operator on January 9.
In a second call, Griesemer said, “I’m smarter than you. More powerful than you. I have more guns than you. More manpower. Your cast is about to get gunned down in a matter of hours.”
According to CNN, an investigator hired by the network tracked Griesemer’s phone number down to a wireless account owned by his father.
The investigator called back the number and recorded Griesemer’s voice, comparing it to the recorded threats.
“I am on my way right now to gun the f****** CNN cast down …. I am coming to kill you,” the 19-year-old said.
After being discovered, Griesemer was arrested and jailed on a $10,000 unsecured bond. He could face a fine or up to five years in prison if convicted.
In September, Griesemer called an Islamic Center in Ann Arbor and made derogatory comments about Muslims, the FBI affidavit noted.
CNN issued a statement in response to the incident.

“We take any threats to CNN employees or workplaces, around the world, extremely seriously. This one is no exception. We have been in touch with local and federal law enforcement throughout, and have taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our people.”
Mainstream media outlets, journalists, and Democratic politicians swiftly tied the news back to President Trump’s frequent criticism of the liberal press’s bias.

In their outrage, the media has forgotten about acts of violence against conservatives by incensed liberals, like last year’s shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA). They also conveniently gloss over horrendous acts of murder by illegal alien criminals because it doesn’t fit their open borders narrative.
