For Jimmy Kimmel, making fun of the president is pretty much reflexive at this point.
The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host took a jab at President Trump during his opening monologue Monday night, describing the president as “really bad at reading women” in light of his comments on Saturday’s Women’s March.

Kimmel said it was “not a good weekend for Donald Trump,” noting that “millions of protesters, mostly women, marched in tees all across the country on the one-year anniversary of his presidency.”
The audience cheered at Kimmel’s description of the Women’s March, prompting him to pause before joking that “even [First Lady] Melania marched. But the Secret Service, they captured her and returned her to her shoe closet.”

Kimmel noted the number of women who marched in multiple cities and quipped: “One thing you can say, Donald Trump got more women to exercise than Michelle Obama ever did”–a reference to the former first lady’s “Let’s Move!” campaign against obesity.
The late night host ridiculed President Trump’s Saturday afternoon tweet about the Women’s March, calling it “his most breathtaking tweet of all time.”

Reacting to the president’s tweet, Kimmel said “Boy, he’s really bad at reading women. Only Donald Trump could make a protest about him even more about him.”
He went on to show his favorite protest signs from the event.

“Does this a** make my country look small,” one sign read, a photo of President Trump accompanying the text.
Another sign featured a cartoon of the president wearing beauty pageant attire, including a sash inscribed with the words “Miss Ogyny.”

A third sign called on Americans to “veto the Cheeto,” and showed President Trump represented as the orange snack.

“It was truly a moving and inspirational weekend for American women–and the poster board aisle at Office Max,” Kimmel concluded.”
The television personality will host this year’s Academy Awards in March–his second year in a row doing so. Kimmel has been an outspoken commentator on politics, using his show to speak in favor of gun control and Obamacare.

Not everyone was a fan of his comedy–conservatives jumped in to roast Kimmel on Twitter.
Your obsession with @realDonaldTrump is becoming boring.

Is there ever a day when @jimmykimmel doesn’t bawl his eyes out over something that happens in DC? It’s like his very existence is tied to what the parasitic political class does and says on a daily basis.
