Intentional or not, Newsweek has exposed the real reason Democrats doggedly pursue allegations of collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia, despite there not being a shred of evidence to support the claim.
The left believes that, the U.S. Constitution notwithstanding, Hillary Clinton can STILL become president.
The left-wing magazine ran an article Thursday that features Harvard University law professor Lawrence Lessig, who offered a convoluted scenario that proposes IF Robert Mueller should find that the Trump campaign actually conspired with Russia to influence the results of the election, the president would have to resign or be impeached.
Wherein, Vice President Mike Pence would then have to resign or get impeached, which would make Speaker Paul Ryan the president of the United States.

Lessig noted there is “no mechanism in American law for a new election,” nor “a mechanism for correcting the criminal results of the previous election.”
All of which leaves Hillary’s aspirations in the hands of Ryan, who the professor said ought to nominate “the person defeated by the treason of his own party, and then step aside, and let her become President.”
And there you have it… but for a shred of evidence.
The trouble is, nothing in the constitution allows Paul to handpick his successor, should he decide to step aside, as the crazy-town scenario states.
