Bill O’Reilly must be thinking how on earth is THIS guy still on the air???
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was forced to apologize for a video clip that surfaced of him joking about a “Bill Cosby pill” in 2016 as he prepped for an interview with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“Can I have some of the queen’s waters? Precious waters?” Matthews is heard asking in the video shared online by The Cut.
As the MSNBC anchor awaits the water, he then asked, “Where’s that Bill Cosby pill I brought with me?”
Clearly pleased with himself, he laughs heartily as uncomfortable staffers react with disbelief.
“This was a terrible comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines,” Matthews told the Cut. “I realize that’s no excuse. I deeply regret it and I’m sorry.”
The recurring question at this point is what the hell is wrong with Matthews to make a joke about rendering a woman unconscious to have sex with her.

Even the left is turning on Matthews, no longer feeling a thrill going up their leg when it comes to the on-air personality.
Matthews has a history of creepy behavior toward women and Media Matters is now declaring the latest incident “[one] too many.”
Matthew Gertz, a senior fellow at Media Matters, tweeted: “In light of the footage of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews joking about his ‘Bill Cosby pill’ before an interview with Hillary Clinton, I’m going to tweet some of his sexist and misogynistic comments from our archives. This may take a while.”

Gertz then tweeted condescending, sexist remarks Matthews has made about Fox News Channel’s Laura Ingraham, CNN’s Erin Burnett, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Ann Coulter, among other examples.
In all, he posted 40 tweets on the issue, but then, the left-wing site has long had his number… especially when it comes to Hillary.
Back in 2008, Media Matters published a detailed accounting of Matthews’ history of disparaging comments about women and their physical appearances.
