When all else fails, do what you have to do to get the job done.
That’s exactly what Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota did when unbelievably he managed to catch his own touchdown pass to help come from behind and earn his team an unforgettable playoff victory.

On a third and goal play, Mariota got an opening and threw a pass that was deflected back at him by Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Mariota, barely over the scrimmage line, caught his own pass and leaped forward for what officials would rule a legal touchdown that would put the Titans on a 22-21 winning path.
The catch shocked everyone and was the first time ever a player had thrown a touchdown pass to himself during a playoff game.
“I’m part of a great team. I’m part of a group of guys that really believe in each other. And it’s something special,” Mariota said after the game.
