President Trump has taken out the sledgehammer.
In light of the Senate’s approval of the Republican tax plan early Wednesday morning, President Trump unleashed a two-for-one Twitter storm: basking in the victory and blasting his detractors in the media.

The president accused the media of coordinating with the Democratic party to sway public opinion against the GOP tax bill, which he characterized as “large” and “meaningful” “tax cuts.”
“The Tax Cuts are so large and so meaningful, and yet the Fake News is working overtime to follow the lead of their friends, the defeated Dems, and only demean.”
President Trump also asserted the tax legislation will be vindicated when it stimulates economic growth and job creation.
“This is truly a case where the results will speak for themselves, starting very soon,” the president continued. “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!”
The Senate passed the final version of the bill along party lines, 51-48, with Vice President Mike Pence presiding.
The House approved the bill Tuesday, but will vote on it again after the Senate made technical changes.
Democrats and left-wing pundits have described the legislation as “theft” that exclusively benefits the rich–at the expense of the middle class.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) railed against the tax plan.

The leading Democrat also slammed Republicans for their “greed.”
“In this holy time, the moral obscenity and unrepentant greed of the GOP tax scam stands out even more clearly,” Pelosi said.
An analysis released Monday by the Joint Committee on Taxation found that Middle Class Americans will get $122.6 billion in tax cuts in 2019 under the Republican tax plan. That amounts to 47 percent of the $259.5 million in individual and business tax cuts for the year.
By contrast, those who earn more than $1 million will receive 14 percent of the tax cuts.
Under the legislation, the wealthy will mostly see benefits in the form of lower business taxes–a feature expected to spur job growth for all Americans.
Liberals are disappointed in Congress and the president’s decision to move forward with the tax relief bill.
Last week, an MSNBC panel lamented that “it’s unfortunate that — that we are designing public policy in a way that, you know, comes down to how you voted in an election.”
Despite the opposition and the media spin, President Trump is going forward with the pro-growth tax policy he ran on delivering.
