Conservatives are angry.
Doug Jones broke the Democrats’ 25-year losing streak by winning a Senate seat in Alabama’s Tuesday night special election.
The problem is how he got the win.

Jones’ upset victory was arguably aided in no small-part by the sexual misconduct allegations surrounding his opponent, Republican Roy Moore–allegations heavily covered by the mainstream media.
Moore, a former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice, decisively won the GOP primary, beating Mitch McConnell-backed incumbent Luther Strange by a 54.6-45.4 percent margin.
But Moore was unable to overcome in the general, candidacy marred by allegations of sexual assault against minors and opposition from prominent members of his own party.
Many conservatives directed their frustration at the Republicans who failed to support the Alabama Senate candidate.

Yeah. False accusations of sexual assault are really decent.

Doug Jones supports 3rd trimester partial birth abortion. That’s murder and is in No way decent.

Yep, real decent! A baby killer!

Other Twitter users lamented that Moore was presumed guilty without due process.

Democrats are now convinced their comeback to power has begun. They’ll retake the Senate in 2018 & 2020 by using the same tactics used against Moore. Find women from decades prior willing to make ‘credible allegations’.

I really don’t care for Roy Moore at all, his policies or his persona. It would just be a shame to find out that this election was rigged & the allegations were fake.

The write-in folks are going to feel buyers remorse once Jones shows himself to be a solid blue vote and the allegations against Moore fade to mist.

It took fake allegations. Lies from media saying Moore wanted to repeal half the constitution(lies) and major Soros money to flip this race. As long as the fake news lies and dummies believe it we are screwed. Oh and @SenateMajLdr is a just plain loser.

I don’t watch Fox News because…well, because I’m not in my seventies. But I am right now and it’s astonishing that…across the board… the hosts and pundits are treating the Roy Moore allegations as though they were a.) true and b.) somehow on par with forcible rape.

National coverage of the Alabama race was immense, with most of the reporting focused on the accusations against Moore. The three major networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) devoted 40 times more coverage to the Moore allegations than to Sen. Bob Menendez’s (D-NJ) corruption trial–another scandal that occurred around the same time.
Many outlets repeatedly ran headlines calling Moore an “accused pedophile.”
NJ.com wrote:
From Daily Mail:
And at NY Daily News:
But the headlines were misleading. Even the Washington Post ran an article titled “Roy Moore is not a pedophile,” which clarified that pedophilia is an attraction to prepubescent children.
Of the Moore accusers, one, Leigh Corfman, claimed to be 14 when she was allegedly abused by the former judge. The various women who said they dated Moore claimed to be 16 and 17–ages that met Alabama’s age of consent at the time.
After the election results came in, legacy media outlets thanked the people of Alabama for choosing Jones–making their political preferences known.
From the New York Times:
And the Washington Post:
After the major loss, Republicans were not happy with the media or the party establishment.
Idk what people are thinking. DOUG JONES is a Backdoor politician. This man is crooked. Just wait & see what kind of man y’all voted for, When Schumer tells him what to do, instead of Alabamians.

Not to mention, what the HELL is the point of having a legal system if ppl are going to subvert back to #LynchMobJustice on the command of #FakeMedia & 10-time-proven #FraudAllred … #PROPAGANDA now rules America’s sheeple#HR5736

Its worse than that. The Democrats will interpret that Jones victory was due to the sexual-based smears and will go into overdrive for 2018. The corrupt and compromised GOP won a battle against their own voters. Don’t count on us to be there for you in 2018. #johncoryn #TedCruz

Yes Republicans better wise up to the dirty tricks of the Dems. It will escalate
