Joy Behar made it clear she allows no diversity of thought at her Thanksgiving Dinner table.
Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to plug her new anti-Trump book, “The Great Gasbag,” Behar agreed with co-host Joe Scarborough’s assertion that it’s important for people to be able to disagree and still be able to break bread together peacefully over the holidays.
Even as Behar admitted that she has had “fights with people at dinner parties.”
But her sacrifice stopped at agreeing, as she said Trump supporters can go hungry as far she is concerned.
“I think it’s important, but I really can’t do it,” Behar said. “I have to tell you.”
“Because if you’re a Trump supporter, there’s something going on with you that I can’t abide,” she declared.
“That means that you don’t care about the environment,” Behar continued. “It means that you don’t care about women’s issues. It means you don’t care about the fact that he provokes that nut case in North Korea.”
“I’m worried about the country. So how can you be on his side? I don’t get that,” Behar concluded.
And these are the folks who call themselves compassionate?
