An Indiana hospital plans to investigate a tweet from one of its nurses calling for white women to sacrifice their sons, the hospital announced Saturday.
The nurse in question, Taiyesha Baker, is at the center of an investigation after an alleged tweet of hers blaming white women for the evil in the world surfaced this week, reports Fox 29.
“Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star. Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves Bitch,” Baker allegedly posted over Twitter while she was an employee at the hospital.
A hospital spokesperson confirmed that Baker is an employee at Indiana University Health and that Baker would not be able to work with patients during the course of the investigation.
“IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee. Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts,” spokesperson Jason Fletcher said, adding that despite Baker’s claims, she does not work in at the Riley Hospital for Children.
Fletcher also added that Baker had been hired only recently.
The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to the hospital for additional comment but received none in time for publication.
