If reports out of Hollywood are true, Americans might be seeing a lot more of Colin Kaepernick

Brace yourself, America. If you were sick and tired of hearing about Colin Kaepernick before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Because the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback could be switching careers to something even more in the public eye than before …

According to TMZ, a famous casting director posted a request for someone who represents Kaepernick to contact her on a message board frequented by managers and agents.

From TMZ:

The casting director is currently working on a TV pilot and — more notably — the Pepsi commercial-inspired movie “Uncle Drew” starring Kyrie Irving, Lil Rel Howery, Nick Kroll and sports legends like Shaq, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and Lisa Leslie.

Speculation has it that an “Uncle Drew” cameo could be in the works, in what would be Kaepernick’s first acting role.

Of course, any role will do. After all, his other gig, as a rich, pampered, millionaire NFL athlete just itching to make a pointless political statement by insulting his country and its revered symbols and traditions has pretty much run its course as multiple NFL teams have declined to sign him.
