President Donald Trump fired another shot in his war with basketball stage dad LaVar Ball on Wednesday.
The president compared the father of suspended UCLA basketball player LiAngelo Ball to boxing promoter, and President Trump supporter, Don King.

“It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence – IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think,” he wrote on Twitter.

The feud between Ball and the president ignited after President Trump stepped in to get Ball’s son LiAngelo, and two fellow UCLA players, released from China after they were caught shoplifting.
The three young men expressed their gratitude to the president but the indignant Ball dismissed President Trump’s help, after his son was safely home.

“Who?” Ball said when asked about the president’s help in getting his son out of a jam. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”
Not everyone. But UCLA directly thanked the president for his help in aiding the players.
That wasn’t enough for Ball, who said he would have only thanked the president if his son had come on with him on Air Force One.
His ungrateful attitude prompted President Trump to say he should have left the players in China until his next visit.
The comparison to King is likely due to the fact that Ball is making the rounds on TV to continue his feud with the president, while gaining attention for his shoe company Big Baller Brand.
And it had social media in stitches.

I don’t think there is a person that makes me laugh as much as Trump. In a country that comedy has been killed by liberalism, it’s refreshing to have funny President who doesn’t give a shit abt political correctness. #MAGA???
