Women’s March wants high school and college students to be adequately equipped for #Resistance against all things Trump.
To that end, organizers have released a “resistance toolkit” geared toward training young lefties on how to vote, organize, and even eventually run for political office themselves.

“Our goal is to provide young people with the tools needed to create high school and college chapters that guide students in making a positive impact in their communities. We believe that the single most powerful act we can do is prepare young people with the skills and commitments to take actions around causes that matter to them with courage, compassion and collaboration,” says the kit’s website.
The package is three-pronged:
First, organizing by “developing action-based activism skills.”
“Effective organizing begins with a deep understanding of the change you are trying to create and relies on clear articulation of both where you are and where you want to be,” the website reads.
Second, voting: “To prepare young people to get educated on voting and get ready to vote through collaboration with Rock The Vote.”
Third, running for office.
“Particularly for young women, running for office is an act of resistance,” the site reads, “and a direct action to fight against injustice in your community. Rise to Run brings progressive girls and young women together in their communities to give them insight into the political process, connect them with mentors, and involve them in local organizing.”
Other groups behind the initiative include Peace First, Teen Vogue, Rise To Run, The Justice League NYC, The Gathering For Justice, and Rock The Vote.
And no, pussy-hats aren’t included.
