MSNBC’s Joy Reid proved Sunday there are few limitations to how low she will go.
Taking prostituting for attention to despicable levels, Reid saw fit to denigrate religion and the power of prayer in response to the worst mass shooting in Texas history.
At least 26 people were killed at a church Sunday in Sutherland Springs, a small town east of San Antonio, and more than 20 others wounded when a killer wearing tactical gear opened fire.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, took to Twitter to offer his prayers for first responders dealing with the carnage, which included the death of a 5-year-old child.
“Keeping all harmed in Sutherland Springs in our prayers and grateful for our brave first responders on the scene,” Cruz tweeted.

Proving that marginal success does not equate to class, the MSNBC host’s repugnant response was to mockingly imply that Jesus Christ himself had little use for prayer.
And all those lepers he came upon, and rather than healing them, thought and prayed, and thought and prayed…?

Such thinkers and prayers, these supposed inheritors of his faith have become. Such thinkers and prayers…

I mean why actually DO anything at all, when it's so much easier to just think and pray, and think and pray…?

Pressing home her progressive bona fides, Reid praised the power of government — unless she has a mouse in her pocket — over faith and the individual.
“It so happens that in the secular world we regulate things like guns through laws. And you can’t think or pray those up. Someone has to ACT,” she tweeted.

The “action” Reid seeks, of course, is gun control as she ridicules Republicans for respecting the Second Amendment.
There were plenty of responses to Reid’s hate-filled ignorance, but the following tweet may be the best response:
Ah, the “cafeteria plan” of Christianity where one disavows prayer. That’s not how this works, not how any of it works

That's right joy, ACT NOW. Lead the charge to repeal the #2A and see how popular that movement ends up being. If not, shut the hell up!! https://t.co/FGSaMM2f3s
