Actress Rose McGowan has been taking on Hollywood for its silence on sexual predator Harvey Weinstein, and she’s made no exception for her former costar Alyssa Milano.
On Sunday McGowan continued calling out the Tinsel Town hypocrites for not speaking out against major Democrat donor and fundraiser Weinstein. The same crowd who went ballistic over a years old audio tape of President Donald Trump,
Milano, who starred on the hit series “Charmed” with McGowan, has been devoting the majority of her tweets to gun control in the aftermath of the Las Vegas massacre, but has been mum on Weinstein.
Which is curious because Milano fancies herself a champion of women’s issues. And the double standard seemed not to be lost on McGowan.
Milano tweeted Rep. Tim Ryan, who donated his past contributions given to him by the NRA, totaling $20,000, to groups who advocate from stronger gun control.
“How can we inspire more of your colleagues to follow in your footsteps?” Milano tweeted.
McGowan quoted Milano’s tweet and asked “I don’t know Alyssa, how can we?” which appeared to be shade at Milano for not speaking out against Weinstein.
McGowan retweeted a Twitter user who used that quote and added “With @Alyssa_Milano often rightfully calling out wrongs against women, her silence in support of Charmed co-star @rosemcgowan is deafening.”
