Andrea Tantaros’ Fox News lawsuit attorney parts ways with her over ‘irretrievable breakdown’

The attorney for Andrea Tantaros in her lawsuit against Fox News has broken ties with the former host.

In a filing with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, attorney Judd Burstein said there was an “irretrievable breakdown” between them, LawzNews reported.

“In support of this motion, I advise the Court that I decided to withdraw as counsel for Ms. Tantaros based upon an irretrievable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship,” he said.

He will continue to defend both himself and Tantaros against a complaint filed by the network for sanctions against both of them, he said.

Burstein said he is giving Tantaros 60 days to find another attorney, and said he still believes in her case.

“I continue to strongly believe in the merits of Ms. Tantaros’ claims,” he said.

Tantaros filed her suit against the network in April, claiming that Fox News spied on her and used fake accounts to attack her on social media.
