CNN apparently has its anti-President Donald Trump narrative for the Barcelona terrorist attack all set.
On Thursday, while the tragic terrorist attack in Barcelona, Spain in which a van plowed into pedestrians killing 13 and injuring dozens, according to Fox News, is still ongoing, Wolf Blitzer had his story ready to go.
Blitzer, and fellow CNN reporter Jim Sciutto, suggested that the Barcelona attack might be a copycat of the Charlottesville white supremacist attack.
Blitzer’s comments came after it was reported that two of the terrorists were holding hostages in a Turkish restaurant after plowing down pedestrians.
“Five days apart you have a white supremacist in Charlottesville use a vehicle to kill,” Sciutto said. “And here you have attackers, at least following to modus operandi of terrorists using vehicles, apparently, to kill as well. Those shared tactics that should be alarming.”
Blitzer, despite many years of confirmed radical Islamic terrorist attacks using vehicles, added political weight to the idea.
“Yeah and there will be questions about copycats,” Blitzer said. “There will be questions if what happened in Barcelona was at all, at all, a copycat version of what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia even though they may be different characters, different political ambitions.”
Sadly, he didn’t end there. Blitzer expanded on the idea and reiterated the obvious similarities.
“They used the same killing device. A vehicle going at high-speed into a group, a large group, of pedestrians.”
Unbelievable.

Social media lambasted Blitzer for his transparent and politically biased comment.
.@wolfblitzer Since Barcelona is a copycat of Charlottesville (it isn’t as these attacks happened B4) name the hateful ideology. Your rules!

Umm, sure, it’s not like radical Islam has ever used vehicles as weapons before right?

All statues of Wolf Blitzer should be torn down, or,at the very least, remanded to the Museum of Fake News 🙂
