The intimidation and bullying this student endured for posing with VP Pence is NOT my America

In a display of how extreme the far-left has become in America, a college student is being bullied for taking a photo with Vice President Mike Pence.

McKenzie Deutsch, a student at Scripps College, said that after sharing the photo on social media, her peers charged that it “constitutes direct violence and oppression against marginalized groups.”

Deutsch said she was hesitant to post the photo out of fear of the possible reaction, according to Fox News, and her concerns were justified when she was criticized for standing next to a person who is “a threat to human rights everywhere.”

“Did you manage to ask him why he thinks women are second-class citizens?” one responder asked. “How many LBGTQ folks do you need to help send to conversion therapy in exchange for reproductive rights from Pence?”

The experience prompted Deutsch to offer a counter in her school newspaper, Fox News reported.

“How did we get to the point where taking a photo with someone is ?” she wrote.

“How will we ever be able to have adult conversations if no one is ever willing to listen to those who have opposing philosophies? Deutsch added. “How can we coexist when we write off our political opponents — as well as those who dare to take photos with them — as morally bankrupt?”

‘Enough Juan, enough!’ Jesse Watters temporarily shuts down The Five’s royal King of Condescension

“No one seems to remember what their teachers have taught them since Kindergarten: Be respectful of others.”

And while she had her detractors, Deutsch also had her share of supporters, as seen in the response from Twitter:
