‘Cut that off!’ GOP strategist loses it when ex-Obama adviser calls Trump team actual Nazis

Having had his fill of the left inventing facts out of whole cloth — a staple on CNN — GOP communications strategist Paris Dennard went off during a panel discussion on the network Saturday on events in Charlottesville.

Joshua Dubois, a spiritual adviser to President Barack Obama, unloaded on President Donald Trump for condemning “this display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides.”

“The president’s statement today was an absolute moral disaster,” he said. “He created a false equivalency with and functionally normalized actual Nazis.”

Just as the left tried to do during the 2016 campaign, Dubois linked the president to the white nationalists, saying he will not call them out by name because “they are an important part of his coalition,” and that “he needs them.”

“And the reason is — let’s stop playing games, here — because he has been flirting with them and winking and nodding at them for two years,” he said.

This “theory” coming because Trump doesn’t play along with the left’s narrative that conveniently ignores the army of left-wing antagonists from Antifa and a host of other radical left-wing groups on hand in Charlottesville who were not about to allow the day to pass peacefully — these extremists and the white supremacists have been jousting back and forth in the city for months.

Dennard asked why was it that President Barack Obama didn’t call out racist groups after a white supremacist killed 9 parishioners at a black church in Charleston, S.C., but could get no answer.

The panel exploded when Dubois blatantly accused President Trump of being a white supremacist, saying he “brought them in the into the West Wing of the White House,” naming Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller and Sebastian Gorka.

“This is who he is! This is who President Trump is!” Dubois shamelessly charged.

The outrageous accusation drew nary a protest from CNN host John Berman, who struggled to maintain control of the discussion, but Dennard voiced his objection.

You will not be on this network and call these people white supremacists, Joushua!” he screamed. “Cut that off!”

Exercising the authority Berman lacked, Dennard said he “will not sit here and allow people to have a different standard for President Obama” than for Trump.
