Huff Po reporter fires back at Eric Bolling’s lawsuit as battle heats up, new charges fly

Yashar Ali has fired back at a lawsuit filed against him by suspended Fox News host Eric Bolling.

Bolling sued Ali for $50 million after the Huffington Post reporter wrote a story that claimed Bolling sent unsolicited photos of his genitalia to unsuspecting female coworkers.

The story led to Bolling’s suspension at Fox News.

Ali expressed on social media that he is unafraid of the lawsuit and maintained that he will continue to report on Bolling.

And the response letter from his attorneys reinforces what Ali said he believes the case is. An attack on him personally, since the Huffington Post is not named in the lawsuit.

New charges of “harassment” and “intimidation” were thrown out by Ali’s team.

“We view your decision to sue Mr. Ali in his individual capacity, for $50 million, without also naming the Huffington Post, as a calculated effort to harass and intimidate Mr. Ali personally,” Ali’s attorneys wrote.

A move they vowed “will not work.”

Bolling has only spoken on the lawsuit and suspension to thank his fans for their support, and again days ago vowing to fight.

In an interesting twist, Ali revealed on Twitter that his attorney is Patricia L. Glaser, a top attorney who has been a Fox News guest and who represented conservative radio titan Rush Limbaugh.

Someone Keith Olberman called “a conservative” and “a wild-eyed GOP’er.

Glaser also represents Jamie Horowitz, the former head of Fox Sports programming, against the network after he was dismissed due to sexual harassment charges.
