‘Friendly’ photo quickly turns to Texas AG blindside: ‘Why are you trying to deport me?’

It’s all about “me, me, me.” Be damned the law, and the taxpayers.

A rude DACA recipient blindsided Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton with questions on illegal immigration and has become an overnight hero for the left.

Damaris Gonzalez reportedly wanted answers as to why Paxton is planning to take legal action in order to rescind the DACA program, according to “United We Dream.”

After taking a “friendly” photo with Paxton,  Gonzalez immediately jumped in with her talking points.

“Why are you trying to deport me?” Gonzalez started.

“I’m actually trying to make sure that the President of the United States follows the Constitution,” Paxton replied. “It’s up to Congress to make the rules.”

Rather than responding to what Paxton said, Gonzalez continued as if she was reading from a carefully practiced script.

Disregarding any notion of the law, let alone the toll unchecked illegal immigration as taken on the country, Gonzalez went straight for the emotional jugular.

“Why are you trying to break up families like mine,” she asked.

“I’m not. I’m asking the President of the United States to follow the law,” he said.

“Why are you trying to criminalize over hundreds of thousands of [inaudible] people like me?” she continued, playing the victim. “DACA has provided physical and security and stability for me and my daughters’ assistance,” she said.

Wrong. Hardworking taxpayers were made to provide that for you, not some entity in the sky named “DACA.”

“I’m not saying whether it is a good or a bad idea, what I’m saying is that it has to be done in the right way,” the attorney general said. “It’s unconstitutional the way the President (Obama) did it and you can’t do that. You can’t make up law. That’s what he [Obama] did. Did you understand that? Do you understand the law?”

Gonzalez had no answers because her speech was blatantly prepared in advance, and thus she began to interrupt Paxton as he explained the law to her.

“I’m not saying that it’s not a good policy. What I’m saying is, you understand that we have a Constitution, if we don’t follow the Constitution, it ruins the whole country,” Paxton explained.

But Gonzalez paid no mind.

“No human is illegal,” she said. “We fought for DACA. And we won it. And we will protect it.”

Actually, it’s not a law. It’s a policy. You haven’t won anything.
