Dummy thugs vandalize cars in movie theater parking lot, share evidence of crime on social media

A pair of vandals gave police a fantastic clue after they damaged cars in a movie theater parking lot.

The thugs filmed their acts of destruction of vehicles parked outside of the AMC Theater in Linden, NJ on Wednesday and then shared the video of their criminal acts on Instagram, the Westfield Patch reported.

Police responded to the theater after midnight when customers reported damage to their vehicles.

Authorities were made aware of the video shared on Instagram that purported to show the men damaging the cars and trucks, according to the Patch.

“This m–her f—ing video is called ‘Smash Cars,’” one of the men said before they started hopping and rolling on the vehicles.

At the end of the video one of the windshields is heard being cracked and one of the men said “Yo, he cracked that sh-t.”

“We believe that additional vehicles may have been damaged during the incident that have yet to be reported to police,” the Linden Police said in a statement.

The investigation is ongoing.
