Armed Florida man doesn’t play around when workers fail to move their utility trucks

Oh, Florida. You never disappoint when it comes to strange and bizarre occurrences.

A retired Miami-Dade firefighter went to extreme measures after AT&T workers parked in front of his home ignored his demand that they move their utility trucks.

by opening fire on the vehicles!

The man, identified as 64-year-old Jorge Jove, according to WSVN-TV, is seen on video calmly walking out with a large handgun and begins shooting the tires on one of the vehicles.

A worker can be heard on the phone, seemingly speaking with a 911 dispatcher.

“He’s shooting the truck right now,” the man said. “There’s a guy shooting the tires and shooting the engines and everything.”

And he wasn’t kidding. Jove was unloading on the vehicles, even taking care to reload from his pocket to go at it a second and third time.

All the while, a utility worker was up in the bucket of the utility vehicle, according to the man — image the terror this person was experiencing!

A neighbor described Jove as “impeccable,” but said this was not the first time he has confronted AT&T workers parked in front of his home, WSVN-TV reported.

Hialeah Police Sgt. Carl Zogby said “something made him snap today.”

“He was upset that the trucks were parked in front of his house, asked them to move,” he said.
