Feminists are having a nuclear meltdown over a Czech Republic nuclear power plant holding an online beauty contest featuring women in bikinis to award an internship.
Ten women, vying to be selected Miss Energy 2017, signed on and were photographed in modest bikinis while standing in the plant’s cooling tower, the Daily Mail reported.

The photos were posted on the plant’s Facebook page, Infocentrum JE TemelÃn, and social media users were encouraged to vote on their favorite.

And while social justice warriors cried foul over the “sexist” contest, picking a winner was no easy task.

One thing is indisputable, the beautiful contestants gave a whole new perspective on “hard hats.”

But the complaints rolled in from those who do not appreciate beautiful women in bikinis, with one person describing it as “dirty, disgusting sexism,” according to The Mail.

The plant responded to the backlash in a statement on Facebook, saying it “didn’t want to offend anyone,” the British tabloid reported.

“The purpose of the competition was to promote technical education,” the statement said. “But if the original vision raised doubts or concerns, we are very sorry.”
