It’s not exactly as she planned, but Hillary Clinton may make history as the first failed presidential candidate who remains as unpopular as the day she lost.
Clinton had her heart set on making history and even though she lost convincingly, it looks as if she may accomplish the goal after all.

Turns out, Clinton’s favorability rating remains underwater since the election, which defies a post-election trend seen with past presidential election losers, according to a new Gallup survey.
“The latest poll, conducted June 7-11, finds that a majority of Americans continue to view Clinton unfavorably (57%), as they have in all Gallup polls on the former first lady and U.S. senator since January 2016,” the public opinion polling company noted.

Gallup characterized Clinton as “unique,” reporting that “her ratings have suffered each time she has run for office.”
More from Gallup on favorable ratings of losing candidates:
Over the past quarter century, the favorable ratings of losing presidential candidates generally have increased after the election — some in the immediate aftermath and others in the months that followed. With the exception of John Kerry, for whom there are no comparable data, losing presidential candidates since 1992 have experienced a boost of at least four percentage points in favorability when averaging their ratings from the day after the election through the following June.

The survey finding were summed up aptly in one tweet, as seen from the following social media user:
