House Dems hold a ‘talkathon’ to protest new healthcare bill. LOL … that’ll keep them busy

Led by Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, Democrat lawmakers took the floor of the Senate hostage Monday night in a “filibuster” to protest the Republican Party’s closed-door process to repeal Obamacare.

The late-night “talkathon” is more political theater by the party that wrote the book on political theater, designed to halt normal Senate business — something Democrats are good at — and resist the GOP’s effort to produce a bill that will do away with President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.

After all, the Republicans have the audacity to emulate actions last seen when Dingy Harry ran the upper chamber.

And you know Warren and Co. mean business when they roll out the dreaded hashtag: #HoldTheFloor.

The campaign of misinformation went on for 6 hours, highlighted by Warren saying that for Republicans, “tax cuts for a handful of millionaires and billionaires are more important than health care for millions of hardworking Americans and their families.”

Would that be the same families who saw their premiums and deductibles skyrocket under the Democrat’s failed health care law?

Either way, social media users had their own hilarious interpretation of her remarks:
