Desperate congressman afraid defeated media is losing power to help Dems, offers insane pep talk

Far left Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings gave a rallying cry to his party’s friends in the mainstream media on Friday.

Speaking to reporters at the U.S. Capitol, after a briefing on the firing of former FBI Director James Comey from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the Maryland rep gave reporters a shot in the arm in their mutual fight against President Donald Trump.

He thanked reporters for their work and began walking away. But then he came back to the podium to give his media allies a pep talk.

“If there is any moment that the press in our country’s history has a major role, it is this moment,” he told the reporters.

“This is your moment. You have got to put it out there so people can understand what is going on,” he continued. “I have said it before and I’ll say it again, this is about the fight for the soul of our democracy. We cannot afford to lose this one. Thank you very much.”
