Remember when Cindy Crawford was the face of Pepsi and all was right with the world?
With the release of a new flavor that supposedly tastes like Fireball Whisky without the alcohol, Pepsi is likely hoping you’ll forget all about their misbegotten Kendall Jenner ad, the one that got the liberal corporate giant into hot water with pretty much everyone with a pulse.
But yeah, it would probably take the alcohol, and a LOT of it, to accomplish that!

The cinnamon seasoned product, called Pepsi Fire, will be released on May 22 for an eight week limited edition run.
“Summer is one of the most anticipated times of the year, and Pepsi Fire is going to ignite this season with an unexpected and spicy twist to our classic cola taste,” said Pepsi Marketing Director Lauren Cohen.
In addition to regular soda cans and bottles, the drink will also be available in Slurpee form at participating 7-Eleven stores.

Will the new flavor be a hit with consumers? Early returns are doubtful. This Fox News report documents some of the “absolutely horrible” reviews, but one bright side for Pepsi consumers. After all, now we can all “Fuel your next protest with the smooth taste of Pepsi Fire!”
