‘I’m a Democrat because I’m black?’ Watch Don Lemon’s race-baiting circus get nuttier with April Ryan in the mix

Ana Navarro and April Ryan appeared on a CNN panel Tuesday to discuss Sean Spicer’s comments earlier in the day comparing Hitler to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Ryan tried to paint Spicer’s comments as racial when she said they “happened during Passover, a holy time for a community…It’s not about politics. It’s about people who are hurt.”

But she, and Navarro, quickly turned their attention toward fellow panelist, former Republican Georgia Rep. Jack Kingston, as they desperately tried to paint him as a racist.

As everyone spoke over each other, Kingston mistakenly referred to Ryan as “Ana.”

“That’s not Ana. That’s April,” Lemon interjected, but the damage was done.

Kingston’s innocent mistake was the impetus for what became a ridiculous attack.

“Not all colored girls are the same, Jack!” Navarro scolded.

Lemon again tried to defuse the situation by joking that both women were wearing yellow.

But Ryan feigned outrage after Kingston accused her of being partisan.

“Here’s the point. you might not be criticizing him because you’re a Democrat. You’re criticizing him because you don’t like Trump,” he said.

His accusation is something obvious to anyone who has listened to Ryan at any White House press briefing, but somehow she spun that into a racial insult.

“I never said I was a Democrat. I never said I was a Republican! You don’t know my politics!” Ryan shot back before the panel erupted into everyone talking over each other again.

“He just went to a whole ‘nother …” Ryan continued. “I’m a Democrat because I’m black?”

A statement that caused even host Don Lemon to appear exasperated.

“Jack, do me a favor: quit while you’re behind,” Navarro quipped.

He was behind when he agreed to appear on CNN.
