The more things change, the more they remain the same.
In a study sure to get feminists’ panties in a wad, Millennial men increasingly want stay-at-home wives.
This being the generation that forged a new national consensus in favor of gender equality, The New York Times noted.
Pointing to the Council on Contemporary Families, The Times said “fewer of the youngest millennials, those aged 18 to 25, support egalitarian family arrangements than did the same age group 20 years earlier.”
Egalitarian arrangements being where power is shared more-or-less equally by both the wife and the husband.

More high school seniors in 2014 though “the husband should make all the important decisions in the family” — see wearing the pants — than in 1994, an increase from 30 to 40 percent.
More on another CCF survey from The Times:
In 1994, only 42 percent of high school seniors agreed that the best family was one where the man was the main income earner and the woman took care of the home. But in 2014, 58 percent of seniors said they preferred that arrangement. In 1994, fewer than 30 percent of high school seniors thought “the husband should make all the important decisions in the family.” By 2014, nearly 40 percent subscribed to that premise.
The results are sure to leave the progressive left aghast, but it appears men aged 18 to 25 prefer to be the breadwinner with more traditional stay-at-home moms — a stance more women seem to be embracing also.
But the American Sociological Association says the inequality comes with a price.
“The minority of couples who do manage to divide chores and child-rearing equally report higher levels of marital and sexual satisfaction, and more frequent sex, than do men and women in homes where the wife does most of the housework and child care,” The Times reported.
Perpetually aggrieved feminists and other liberals weren’t too happy with the overall findings, with one social media user even suggesting abortion as a solution!
