Chris Wallace reportedly part of complaint Ivanka’s family’s ‘ruining the neighborhood,’ but why is it news?

Fox anchor Chris Wallace went to a neighborhood meeting to complain about D.C. neighbors Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

The group complained about the Trump family “ruining” the neighborhood by causing parking problems, leaving trash on the curb and the need for big security presence on the street, The Associated Press reported.

“It has been a three-ring circus from the day that they’ve moved in,” neighbor Marietta Robinson, told the AP. “They’ve completely ruined the neighborhood.”

The $5.5 million home has been rented by Kushner and Trump for months since after the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

Wallace reportedly showed up to a recent neighborhood meeting complaining about the parking situation caused by the Trump’s, according to the AP.

The neighborhood has its share of high-profile neighbors, including Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former President Obama and his family, who also require Secret Service, yet none have angered the community like the Trump family.

It’s worth noting that D.C. voted 90.9 percent for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election while President Donald Trump only received 4.1 percent, according to the New York Times.

“Maybe some of the upset has to do with politics, a little. I couldn’t say for sure, but I know that people don’t seem to be upset about Tillerson’s situation. It’s much less intrusive,” neighborhood commissioner Ellen Goldstein said.

Robinson said it was the Secret Service that was the biggest issue.

“There are more of them than I have ever seen,” she wrote to Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser and other D.C. officials, according to the AP. “Frequently several of them are milling outside of the house at all hours having conversations and staring meanly at anyone in view.”

And she shared Wallace’s alleged opinion that parking is the biggest concern.

“The parking patrol on Tracy Place has always been ultra-vigilant,” she wrote in the letter. “Suddenly, the parking enforcement has disappeared.”

Many on social media attacked the Associated Press for even reporting the “National Enquirer” type story.

And Wallace, who President Trump’s supporters are not fond of to begin with, didn’t earn any new fans.
