Chelsea Handler may be an alleged comedian, but a Rhodes Scholar she is not.
Playing to her liberal base, Handler posted a remark on Twitter mocking the Trump family in response to the news that President Donald Trump’s son Eric and his wife, Lara, are expecting their first child.
“Just what we need. Another person with those jeans. Let’s hope for a girl,” she tweeted.
I guess one of @realDonaldTrump's sons is expecting a new baby. Just what we need. Another person with those jeans. Let's hope for a girl.

But Chandler wasn’t talking about a pair of blue jeans, she was referencing “genes.”
Quick to seize on the monumental blunder was none other than Donald Trump Jr., who came to his brother’s defense: “Jeans??? I guess I’m not at all surprised… but really?!?!”

Taking his defense beyond the 140 character limit of Twitter, Trump Jr. would also comment on Facebook on Handler’s failed attempt at being a good liberal.
“The liberal elite’s real hatred is hopefully starting to be apparent to mainstream America,” he wrote, before dismissing as “nonsense” the notion that Democrats are the party of tolerance.
“Attacking the announcement of someone’s first pregnancy would seem below the belt to most, but sadly that’s no longer the case,” Trump Jr. continued.
He then gave the “comedian” a bit of a science lesson.
“As to the ‘hoping it’s a girl’ comment, I wonder if she knows that said ‘jeans’ (aka genes) are passed from the same people whether it’s a girl or a boy???”
“Based on what I’ve seen… probably not. So much for the party of science.”
Score!
All of which prompted Handler to apologize for her spelling error, but not her hatred.
Tomi Lahren suspended from The Blaze; Glenn Beck says it’s not because she’s pro-choice
She offered the excuse that she was “a little stoned,” because being in an altered state of mind is a respectable position on the left.
Sorry about spelling mistake. I meant "genes," not "jeans." I'm a little stoned. What's your excuse?
