Judge allows Trump supporters to seek justice for violence

While the liberal media hyperventilated over violence allegedly being provoked by Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, real violence was being committed by the anti-Trump left as seen in the city of San Jose.

…and now the city will have to answer in court for that violence.

On Wednesday, a federal judge gave plaintiffs who accuse the city of not protecting them during a Trump rally the go-ahead to pursue their lawsuit against San Jose, CBS San Francisco reported.

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, said at the time that Trump was responsible for what happened in his city.

San José Police Chief Eddie Garcia fretted in a statement last year that protecting Trump supporters — see enforcing the law — would further “incite” the mob.

And while federal judge Lucy Koh dismissed claims against Garcia, she allowed the lawsuit against the city and individual police officers to proceed, according to KPIX 5.

The Trump supporters allege that police intentionally steered them into an angry mob of protesters.

Either way, police were scarce when the violence took place.
