Bill Clinton lets loose a priceless gaffe during speech… but it’s only a ‘gaffe’ if you’re Bill Clinton

If irony were a crime, former President Bill Clinton might be in jail for his recent quote on decency in politics.

‘We have to find a way to bring simple, personal decency and trust back to our politics,” the 42nd president said during a speech at the Brookings Institution on Thursday.

The quote came as the former president was discussing Israeli and Palestinian relations.

“[I]t always comes down to two things, are we going to live in and us and them world, or a world that we made together? Is it going to be one set of rules for us, and another set for everybody else, or are we going to find a way to live through the same rules?” he said.

Social media users found the irony rich.
