Newly elected Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez came about as close as any Democrat is willing to come to admitting they are an open border party.
…all the while, playing the compassion card.
In an email to supporters Monday, Perez opposed President Donald Trump’s new executive order on immigration and refugees, deceptively calling it “a new version of the Muslim ban.”
While such dishonesty is nothing new from Democrats, Perez listed several reasons the party faithful should “fight back” … to include allowing any and all who show up at our border to be accepted with open arms.
“For those who quit their jobs, sold their homes and possessions, and left their lives behind to seek out a better life in this country only to be turned away at our borders, we must fight back,” he wrote.
The delusional appeal exposes the left’s belief that the world has the “right” to come to America… providing they fit into a demographic likely to vote Democratic.
But Perez was just getting started in pulling at the heartstrings of his misguided flock while pandering to every identity group under the sun.
“For the five-year-old boy and the 90-year-old grandmother who were separated from their families and detained, alone, for hours, we must fight back,” he continued. “For the sick people seeking medical treatment and the doctors coming to this country to treat them who were sent away, we must fight back.”
Throwing caution — and facts — to the wind, Perez added the need to fight for “Muslim Americans who have borne the brunt of a new wave of anti-Muslim hate crimes in the wake of this ban.”
Putting action to words, Perez spoke at a White House rally Monday night, repeating much of the highly divisive rhetoric seen above.
That he was standing just feet away from Code Pink goof Medea Benjamin, who was rocking a “Say No To Islamaphobia” shirt, somehow seemed oh, so appropriate, given that the hard left, open border crew now owns the Democratic Party lock, stock and barrel.
