Smug Bill Maher takes credit for Milo’s downfall, then video containing some serious karma surfaces

Liberal comedian Bill Maher took credit for destroying the career of conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

But it didn’t take long for his own words to come back to haunt him.

Yiannopoulos was disinvited from CPAC, had his book deal rescinded and resigned from his job at Breitbart after video was released that showed him making statements many believed were condoning pedophilia.

A charge that Yiannopoulos has vehemently denied.

And now Maher is patting himself on the back for getting the ball rolling to take down the former Breitbart tech editor.

“What I think people saw was an emotionally needy Ann Coulter wannabe, trying to make a buck off of the left’s propensity for outrage. And by the end of the weekend, by dinnertime Monday, he’s dropped as a speaker at CPAC. Then he’s dropped by Breitbart, and his book deal falls through.

“As I say, sunlight is the best disinfectant. You’re welcome,” he told the New York Times.

And in that regard let’s take a look at some previous comments by Maher.

On his show “Politically Incorrect,” that aired from 1993 — 2002, he scoffed at the idea that Mary Kay Letourneau raped her student when she was 34 years-old and he was age 12.

**Warning for language.

Maher said she was “in jail because she is in love.”

“Basically they’re having a family and they’re keeping the mother in jail because she won’t conform,” to society’s beliefs of what a typical American family looks like, he contended.

In 2005 Maher made an equally controversial statement when he told Craig Ferguson that if he had a choice between being attacked by bullies or molested by a pop star, as he was discussing the Michael Jackson trial, he would have chosen the molestation.

How does that sunlight feel Bill?
