Thank goodness Hillary was around to tell Trump to speak out against anti-Semitic attacks

Not a dollar short, certainly, but a day late…

The day AFTER President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, took to social media to denounce threats against Jewish Community Centers, Hillary Clinton saw fit to call on the president to speak out on the issue.

“JCC threats, cemetery desecration & online attacks are troubling & they need to be stopped. Everyone must speak out, starting w/ @POTUS,” Clinton tweeted Tuesday morning.

Welcome to Sweden! Here’s what happened last night . . . still want to mock Trump?

Clinton’s tweet was in response to reports vandals destroyed about 100 headstones at the Chesed Shel Emeth Society cemetery in St. Louis over the weekend, according to The Hill.

Right on cue — almost as if Clinton knew it was coming — Trump commented on the incident Tuesday during a visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

“The anti-Semitic threats targeting our Jewish community and community centers are horrible and are painful and a very sad reminder of the work that still must be done to root out hate and prejudice and evil,” the president said.

Much like her father beat Clinton to the draw in the November election, Ivanka Trump, who converted to Orthodox Judaism before marrying Jared Kushner, tweeted Monday evening: “America is a nation built on the principle of religious tolerance. We must protect our houses of worship & religious centers. #JCC
